Sometimes I get the funniest email.

The other day I got this one which, when you read it, you will understand why I kept it anonymous.

Here we go:

"Hello Ross,

First of all I have to say THANKS to you because I know you're doing a great job for us who have problems meeting women !!!

But, unfortunately, I am writing you because I encounter trouble studying your material... Here is the thing :

I have premature eja**lations and that is a big problem for me. I only had few relationships because of that. So when I start studying your material, I have that little voice in my head telling me : "Why are you doing all these efforts ? You know you'll never be able to give a woman an orgasm !! Stop being a dreamer !!"

THAT KILLS ME !!!

Then, I push the books and tapes away for a while, and I come back to them later (days or weeks later). When I come back to it, believe me or not, but it's the same !!

I don't know what to do... The thing is that, not to be pretentious, but I am quite handsome, and I know girls like me physically. Therefore, I get the picture of her and I having a good time and then it feels like I know it'll be time to kiss her and then take her back to mine, to get laid.

But then, when we're done having sex, which isn't long, I know she didn't enjoy it so all the good time we had earlier in the evening is forgotten and now she doesn't like me anymore... This is the movie I see in my head while the little voice tells me I won't make her enjoy having sex with me. It's like the movie is the proof to what the voice says ! I get this everytime I try to motivate me studying your stuff in order to go out and have fun.

Last thought : as I write you this, it looks like I realize that the problem is not HOW to cure my problem, but WHAT am I going to replace it with ? i.e. when I'm done with this problem, how do I see my life ? Is it possible that the problem comes from the fact that I don't know exactly who I'll be without premature ejaculations ?

Ok, Frenchy.

First of all, as I once said long ago, I NEVER have "premature" eja**lations. I always ejac**ate WHEN I come, and never BEFORE.

But in a more serious vein, this is really about having MORE experience, NOT shying away from it.

The more you build the suggestion in your mind that your past history of being a "quick shot" means you will always shoot fast IN THE FUTURE, the more you ironically continue to CREATE THAT REALITY.

As I have said for years, what you dwell on, is what you REHEARSE. What you REHEARSE is what you get!

So, stop thinking about it!

Second, start doing the Beginner's Breath Meditation and some of the other breathing exercises I teach. This will calm your system down and give you a shot and not being so fast a shot!

Finally, keep in mind, you've got a lot more to please a woman with than just your weenie. You've got ten fingers, a tongue, and even your elbows if need be!
